If you are looking for a course that is above in waste … like marble fountains that are close to the practice of placing green … National Trump in Doral is your goal. I wandered to Doral in April, eager to face a blue monster and see if the wild animal was really all he wrote … that!
This trip so far is the easiest trip regarding transportation. Dorral is a golf resort course that has its own accommodation with the ‘Stay and Play’ package. Personally, the cost is rather high for me to stay directly in the field so I remain on the train line in ‘The Provident Dorral at the Blue Miami’. From the provident I was able to walk to and from a golf course, driving range, short game area, placing green and right across the road from a living city center with good choice for dining. Accessibility is the main added value at this location.
One of the best features of this course is to have the ability to walk along the path past the Rick Smith Golf Center to the driving range that is neatly kept and a short game area. Because I haven’t played a lot of golf since my trip in February, my game certainly appreciates the range of range and training that is completely stocked because I spend quite a lot of time to do some of the tangles before taking the monster.
Walking towards your course can almost be overwhelmed by white marble, gold ornaments, beautiful flowers, and staff everywhere zippers seek help. I ordered my Tee time online without the complexity and had several times to be chosen. I ordered time for 10 am and almost crashed into the floor when I saw the price … only under $ 500 for rounds. This facility is giant and has an entrance and building almost wherever you turn away. After checking -in, I warmed up and prepared to handle the field with other golfers from Alaska.
Blue monsters are of course blue, with water in 11 of 18 holes. I played the white Tee measured by around 6300 yard … Black Tee entered at 7500 yard really -really the course monster. My day began with equivalent in the opening hole, Par 5 which is good to get warming up and gain confidence before facing a lot of force, complicated pin placement, and bunker that keeps green like Fort Knox. This course is in an extraordinary condition, minus the fact that new green -newest is sanded. Fairways tight, rough fertile, and bunker are filled with some white sand that I have ever seen. 9 front is an absolute explosion to play! Fairways seems to take place forever in Dorral and get a distance from Tee is the most important thing to meet success.
After wrapping 9 front, I turned and continued to surprise the natural beauty that surrounded me on the field. The only thing that looks rather not in place is a plane above the head that can be seen and heard because of closeness to the airport. Also, in the #15 hole you will stumble on the helicopter landing bearing next to the Tee box. The last cover hole is the doral really extraordinary. The crown jewel in the field is hole #18, par 4 with fountains, water dangers, complicated green, and beautiful clubhouse views in front. The 18th hole has been named by Golf magazine as one of the top 100 hole in the world and of course not disappointing.
I only have great things to say about ‘The Blue Monster’ and sincerely hope that you have the opportunity to experience this course at several points. This trip is fantastic from beginning to end, and Tee to green ranks is also quite high!
