TGR Foundation welcomes the Executive Director of TGR Learning Lab at Cobbs Creek

Philadelphia, Pa – TGR Foundation has announced Meredith Foote as the new Lab Executive Director TGR Learning in Philadelphia. Foote, an experienced leader in education will oversee all programs, operations, and funding opportunities at the TGR Lab Lab in Cobbs Creek who will empower students to find and achieve their full potential.

“We are very happy to have Meredith joining the TGR Foundation and lead our expansion to Philadelphia on the Cobbs Creek campus,” said John Lee, senior program and senior education. “He shares our desire for education and provides access and opportunities for young people to develop.”

Foote joined the TGR Foundation with more than 17 years of experience in education. Before joining the foundation, he was the Principal of the Educational Center Overbrook, the leading community school in Philadelphia where he led a significant improvement in student achievement. Foote began his career with Teach for America as a high school teacher and then served as the Head of Innovation Officers for Camden Street School in Newark, New Jersey.

A native of Pennsylvania, Foote obtained a bachelor’s degree from Haverford College. He continued his education at Teachers College, Columbia University where he got the title of Master of Education and recently obtained a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.

Based in Philadelphia on the Cobbs Creek campus, Foote will lead the Educator Team and the TGR Foundation program that serves 1^St. up to 12^Th Class students. He will work collaboratively with the Cobbs Creek Foundation and the community to develop and provide programming that maximizes the impact on young people.
