Spending time at an airport can be one of the most annoying aspects of a vacation…unless it’s an airport that offers a ton no dining, shopping, and activities to pass the time.
USA Today just polled their readers, asking which large airport in America they hate the least, and Charlotte made the cut as the 10th best large airport in America.
USA Today describes Charlotte Douglas as follows:
“By far the busiest aviation center in the Tar Heel State, Charlotte Douglas International Airport operates regular flights to a wealth of destinations both domestic and international. As a major American Airlines hub, the complex services destinations ranging from Las Vegas to Cancun, while on-property amenities include shoeshine stations, a dedicated video game lounge, and cozy cafés for travelers to enjoy.”
Indianapolis and Tampa came in at #1 and #2 in the country.
Do you agree with the ranking?
