Charlotte 49ers football is about to take on App State on their largest stage to date.
The 10 year old team was just selected to play in the 2025 Duke’s Mayo Classic.

This will mark the 4th matchup between Charlotte football and App State – so far App State leads 3-0.
The matchup announcement comes on the heels of Duke’s Mayo Classic deciding to remain in Charlotte indefinitely.
Next year, NC State will take on Tennessee in ‘The Mayo Bowl’.
