At Least 4 People Were Shot In Uptown Charlotte This Morning





In the early hours of the morning, gunfire could be heard through the streets up Uptown Charlotte.

According to CMPD, officers responded to the scene on N. Tryon St between 5th and 6th at 2:25 am. No victims were immediately found, but later in the morning, police discovered that 4 individuals had checked themselves into the hospital.

Police are currently interviewing witnesses in the hospital and in Uptown Charlotte to uncover more information related to the Uptown shooting.
