William “Bill” Smilow and Joe Wilkins joined the Board of Governors of the TGR Foundation TGR
Irvine, Calif. (4 January 2024) – TGR Foundation, a leading non -profit organization, has announced the appointment of William “Bill” Smilow and Joe Wilkins to the National Governor. The two leading leaders bring a lot of experience and in -depth commitment to influence the lives of young people and their communities.
Bill Smilow is the President and CEO of the Smilow Foundation and a famous generous. The Smilow family has supported biomedical education and research through various prizes for leading institutions such as Smilow Yale Cancer Hospital, Johns Hopkins University William S. Smilow Center for Marfan Syndrome Research and the University of Pennsylvania Smilow Center for Translational Research. New Smilow -Newly served as President of Great Oak Holdings, Inc. And currently a member of the Penn Medicine Council, Penn Cardiovascular Institute of the Leadership Council, Penn Orthopedics Leadership Council and the Leadership Cabinet Development of Penn Medicine Development.
Joe Wilkins brought more than 35 years of health care leadership, private equity and venture fund experience to the TGR Foundation Council together with the desire to expand access to health care, affordability, and innovation to improve results in all communities. Wilkins balances his business ventures with community services including the role of the past as chairman of the board for Providence St. Joseph Hoag Health and California Hospital Association. He spent 26 years at Danaher Beckman Coulter, a diagnostic leader of health care and life together with the executive role in Quest Diagnostics and Atlantic Health System.

The addition of Bill Smilow and Joe Wilkins to the council reflects the ongoing commitment of the TGR Foundation to encourage change and create significant impacts in the local community. The collective expertise of the council and a combination of the TGR Foundation Team will continue to advance the organization’s mission through the development and implementation of educational programs that have an impact in South California, Philadelphia and National.
